Jonathan Burrow “Jon” Peters was more than a leader—he was the heart of Anovo.
As founder, President, and CEO, he grew the company from a handful of employees into a team of more than 400 by following a simple philosophy: Put patients first, care for your employees, and everything else will fall into place.
Jon was known for his relentless work ethic, his humor, openness, and the way he made people feel seen. He held himself to the same high standards he expected of others, believing true success was measured by the lives of patients and families made better through Anovo's work.
Beyond Anovo, Jon’s life was defined by his devotion to family and his love for Memphis. He gave generously to the community he called home, and he never missed a chance to spend quality time with his family—values he modeled and encouraged for those who worked alongside him.
His legacy isn’t just the company he built, but the culture of hard work, integrity, and compassion he shaped.
And those values will continue to guide Anovo and live on in everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

Truly a wonderful human being with a kind heart. It was obvious to everyone that he cared about his employees. I feel very fortunate to have been able to work for him these past few years.
