When Evie was born, for the first 8 or 9 hours, we thought everything was normal and fine. When I was told her diagnosis, I was heartbroken because I knew that it was something that wasn't going to go away. It was something that she was going to have to deal with for the rest of her life. We live in central Kentucky, near Cynthiana. I teach at a little school here. I teach English and science to first or fifth graders. And I have two children. I have a son named Emmett who is nine, and I have a daughter named Evelyn, who is four. Eve, like I said, she's four, She's going to be five in a few months. And she is my free spirit child. We lovingly call her feral. Occasionally when you see her, she's usually dirty. She usually has paint or dirt or something on her. Her hairs usually flying around in a mess around her head. Congenital adrenal hypoplasia means that the children are born with it and they don't outgrow it. But it's not a curable thing at this point. It's a lifelong disease, and their bodies do not produce the lifesaving hormones that they need. So with, Abby's medication, she has to take it. It's not, optional. And if she were to run out, you know, the consequences could be life threatening. And so making sure that she has her medication on time and available is the most important thing. To make sure we have all of our medication. We're taking our medications on time. We have to make sure that we always have our emergency medication kits, and we're making sure that we have all the things we need when we leave the house. We're not leaving things behind. We're making sure that we're going to be somewhere at a certain time to be able to take medication. One of the big things for me with Anovo is how personable everybody is. I don't call and talk to automated system that I have to argue with, and press 15 buttons to get to speak with a person. I am transferred directly to somebody who knows who I am and knows who my kid is. I think Anovo is extremely proactive and I barely have to think about they call me and ask me when I'm ready. They take care of all of logistics. I don't have to deal with paperwork. I don't have to deal with insurance companies. I sent in all of Evelyn's information they did all of the communicating with the insurance company, and they made sure everything was taken care of, and I didn't have to do anything. And that's unheard of. I was packing for a vacation. And when I go to pack Abby's medication bag I realized that she's not going to have enough medicine to get us through the entire trip. And I call a Novo, and I immediately say, no big deal. We'll have that out to you tomorrow. I have gotten so accustomed to a Novo that I expect that top tier customer service from other pharmacies, and I'm often left wanting, I get, very minimal support from most pharmacies. but with Anovo, they know exactly who I am and what I need, and they're able to do it flawlessly. Anovo feels like another part of the family. It just feels like talking to somebody that I've known and loved my whole life. Like feel like they actually care about my child as a patient rather than just a paying customer. I just wanted to tell the care team that Anovo. Thank you for always treating us like family.
